Back in 2012 the State Archive Maryland, USA already bought a SCAN MASTER 0 3650. In 2018 another book scanner was bought. This time they opted for the SCAN MASTER 0 4838 – the other SMA A0 book scanner. The high optical resolution of 1200 x 600 ppi is the same in both units. The difference is only the scanning direction and the scanning format.
